Magic red boots... Una's currently working on her debut album, which is due for an Autumn 2010 release. Debut 4-track Saya Nova EP was released in late 2004 to positive reviews in the Irish press with title track "Saya Nova" being playlisted on Ireland's 2FM upon its release. July 2006 saw the Dubliner make her TV debut when she was invited to perform her song "The Art of Being" on BBC’s SRL show.

2008 proved to be an exciting year for Una, as she secured an IMRO scholarship to study Film Scoring at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Una's background is grounded in music, having studied piano and fiddle from a young age. She comes from a family steeped in musical tradition, with influences as diverse as classical, traditional Irish Music and rock coming into play. She graduated as a Computer Scientist, but later completed Postgraduate study in Music Technology at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama. In 2004 Una founded The Piano Room, a Piano School for adults & children in South Dublin. She also set up D8/CASP in 2006 - a Creative Arts project for young people in the Dublin 8 area. The project is now in its third year.

The past few years have seen her open for Mark Geary, Nick Kelly, Ann Scott, Glen Hansard (The Frames), Mundy and Declan O’Rourke among others. She organised her first mini-Irish tour in 2004/5 to support her EP release, along with shows at the 12 Bar Club and The Playroom in London, which were very well received.
